Logan Square Therapy therapists are in-network with a variety of insurance companies and are able to work with out-of-network companies and with folks looking to forgo insurance altogether. If you plan on using your insurance, it is REQUIRED that you know your benefits prior to your first session. Here are the steps to finding out your insurance benefits and coverage:
- Call the member or mental health/behavioral health services line on the back of your insurance card.
- Tell the representative that you would like to know your insurance coverage for CPT Code 90837. This is an industry code for a psychotherapy session. Your representative will move along much quicker if you give them this information and you will be happy to not spend more time on the phone than you need.
- Inquire if there is a deductible that you need to meet before coverage becomes active. If you have a deductible to meet, this means that you will be required to pay the therapist’s full fee until your deductible has been met. Deductible payments do not ‘roll-over’, meaning your deductible starts over every yearly cycle.
- Inquire about co-pays and co-insurance. This will be your financial responsibility for every session you attend once your deductible has been met.
If you have any questions about how to make your finances work with any of our therapists, feel free to contact them directly. You can find contact information and accepted insurance plans on the Therapist page of this site.
